Seneca Lake

Getting to know Seneca Lake

Seneca Lake is the second longest of the Finger Lakes, but it is the deepest, with a maximum depth over 600 feet.  It is estimated that Seneca Lake holds roughly half of the water in the entire Finger Lakes.  Because of its depth, the water will be cooler than the shallower lakes, but the top layer of the lake and shallower areas will typically still be comfortable for swimming in the summer.  The lake spans roughly 38 miles from the City of Geneva to the City of Watkins Glen  If you are looking to buy a home on Seneca Lake, explore the listings below.
